Plan Overview

The 2040 Master Plan for the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport took 18 months to prepare and included  forecasting, demand-capacity analysis, alternatives analysis and community involvement. ABIA expects to exceed 31 million annual passengers by the year 2037, and the master plan is intended to guide how ABIA  accommodates this growth.

The executive summary includes the recommendations and improvements based on research and public feedback.
